From Christine Hallett

17 March 2010

Beloved in the Lord,

This year seems to have wings and is flying by so fast that I can't keep up!  I just want to thank you again most warmly for your love-gift, which I received gratefully from our Father's hand. Thank you for being His instruments of blessing to me.
I am making progress with the book, and have experienced the Lord's help so far. Continue to pray for this.
I have not been able to have any courses printed this month, but even now the Lord can provide for this need.
The first week of the month I had a wonderful visit from Bev and Reuben van Rensburg in connection with Apples of Gold. Some of you may remember that I was involved with Bev in this ministry since 2002 when it started in Gauteng. Now we have launched a Cape chapter! It is simply a ministry in obedience to the Titus 2 commandment to older women to teach (mentor, guide, encourage, accompany) younger women according to the principles laid out in verses 3-5. We saw the Lord's blessing and help as 15 women met together, all with the desire to reach out to other women. There were quite a few women from different assemblies as well as those from other fellowships.
Please pray for clear guidance as to the way forward. I have waited four years to start this down here and now the way seems to be open, but I follow in fear and trembling, knowing that without Him I can do nothing.
I really praise the Lord for His hand of healing through medication and exercise, and my blood pressure has come down to 120 over 70. It is only because of this improvement that I have any hope of starting Apples of Gold.
I value your prayers for continued health and strength to be granted.
Lord willing, I shall be with my family in Benoni over Easter, and hope to visit the family at Bethel Chapel the following Sunday.

Warm greetings in our Lord,
Christine.
